Little Cat Lodge
an Alpine-inspired hotel and restaurant located at the base of Catamount Mountain.
Conveniently located equal distance from Boston and New York, the Little Cat Lodge opened this fall in Hillsdale, New York.
The property operated most recently as the Swiss Hutte Inn and Restaurant from 1962-2021. Then in 2021, New York City restauranteurs, Matt Kliegman and Noah Bernamoff, purchased the seven-acre property which is over 100 years old and was once a stagecoach station.
The property underwent a complete renovation but still maintains its original European ski chalet charm.
Twelve of the fourteen rooms are located in the two-story guest house. Each room has a private terrace or patio, custom beds made from maple trees sourced from the local ski slope, vintage furniture, original artwork and beautiful mountain vistas.
The main house features two spacious two-bedroom suites with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and living rooms. These are perfect for groups and family gatherings.
Perhaps most exciting of all, are the culinary offerings that the Little Cat Lodge has to offer. There are two restaurants, The Tavern which is a 45-seat casual bar that serves drinks and dinner and The Dining Room which is helmed by Jason Bond, a James Beard award-nominated chief.
"We hope Little Cat Lodge continues to feel like an intimate mountain lodge, a place to connect with nature, a jumping off point for hiking trails or ski slopes, a comfortable spot for R&R, or a destination for tasty food and drink.” - Noah Bernamoff
